Welcome to the Southampton (Old) Bowling Green Website
The Green is reputed to be the oldest bowling green in the world. It can, reasonably be claimed the Old Green has been used to play the game of bowls since prior to 1299
We are located in the old part of Southampton close to the QE2 Terminal, and the Town Quay, or green is in front of the current Red Funnel car Park, and beside the old Southampton city walls
