The club are very proud of their history and traditions,
they have a continuous record going back to the start in 1299.
A detailed report can be found in the Club History book,
which is on sale at the club.
A list of all the Masters since 1299 can be found in our history book, the recent Masters are shown on the right.

All other Bowling Clubs
have a Club President, but in this club they are known as the 'Master'.
Ever since 1299, we have kept the traditional title of Master right through.
